INDIANAPOLIS – After coming from behind to win five straight games in the girls state softball tourney, the magic finally ran out for the Adams Central Flying Jets, as they lost to Indianapolis Scecina in the 2A state championship game by a score of 4-2 Saturday at Ben Davis High School.
For the Jets (22-7), it was the second straight trip to the state finals, and the second straight time they came home as the second best team in the state, as they lost last year to South Putnam, 3-1.
