Lions edge Central in overtime

FORT WAYNE – Adams Central rallied from seven points down with just over a minute to go in regulation and forced an overtime with Class 3A No. 9 Leo, but couldn’t repeat the feat in the extra session and fell in the semi-final round of the Allen County Athletic Conference boys’ basketball tournament Thursday night at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum.
Leo took a three-point lead on a 3-pointer by Ryan Bollier a minute into overtime and never trailed as it went on to win the contest 86-79. The Lions (10-0) will face Heritage in the championship game Saturday at noon.
