Miller finishes third in state
South Adams sophomore Sawyer Miller made history this past weekend, becoming the only wrestler in school history to place two times in the IHSAA state wrestling tournament, and with two years left it looks like he may just keep writing his name in that history book.
Miller, a year after finishing fourth at 106 pounds, bounced back from a semi-final loss to eventual state champion Stevan Micic and scored a third place finish by beating East Noble’s Connor Knapp 5-3 in overtime. Knapp defeated Miller a week earlier in the semi-final round at semi-state.
