Norwell drops 63-point loss on Starfires

OSSIAN – Don’t let your feelings get in the way. This, according to Norwell coach Randy Hawkins, was intended to be a ‘catapult’ for the end of the season, and the game plan was for his team to execute the ‘Norwell way.’
South Adams, on this Tuesday night, just happened to be in the way.
Norwell ran over, around and roughshod on the Starfires, executing a 110-47 victory in varsity boys’ basketball. The points scored were the most ever allowed by South Adams, and the 63-point margin of defeat was another dubious mark.
It became apparent early in the second half, with the Knights (12-5) already leading 47-18, that this was not going to be a patty cake ending....
