Pats run win streak over Stars to 10
A 16-2 swing by Jay County that stretched from the end of the first half to just a minute into the second half changed the complexion of a game that was nip and tuck to one that could easily get out of hand.
The Patriots kept the momentum, never letting South Adams get closer than nine points of the lead and skated home with its tenth straight win over the Starfires, 57-36, Saturday night at the Stardome.
South Adams (2-3) had just taken a 15-13 lead on a 3-pointer by Dustin Wanner with 4:21 left in the second quarter. Scott Schwieterman answered for Jay County to tie the score, and Tyler Black added a basket 30 seconds later to give the Patriots the lead for good.
