Andy Parrish pitched six strong innings, allowing just one run on three hits and two walks and helped Peterson Grain beat Farm Bureau 6-1 in the final game of the Monroe Little League tournament Wednesday at Don Ray Park. Parrish struck out nine.
Andrew Hammond hit a triple, single and drove in two runs. Austin Butler doubled, singled and drove in two. Jalen Hammond had a double and single.
Kyle Arnold had two singles for Farm Bureau and Drew Schultz doubled. Arnold suffered the pitching loss, allowing six runs in four innings on eight hits and two walks while striking out seven. Anthony Mosser fanned two in an inning of relief.
