Second half defense carries Jets by Garrett

After serving as a welcome mat to Garrett running back Todd Frickey in the first half, Adams Central slammed the door on the Railroaders in the second and posted a 28-17 victory to even its ACAC record at 1-1 this season.
Frickey ran all over the Jets in the first half, racking up 161 yards on 10 carries, including a pair of touchdown runs of 64 and 62 yards, but the speedy Railroaders was limited to 13 yards in the second half as the Central defense tightened.
