Shenandoah wins SA golf invitational
Shenandoah weathered the elements and posted a 319 to win the South Adams boys’ golf invitational Saturday at Golf Club of the Limberlost in Geneva. The Raiders had three of the top five individual finishers, including the individual medalist Jaron Stiers who shot a 77.
Stiers actually tied teammate Ryan Farmer for medalist honors, but won on the second playoff hole to claim the title. Shenandoah won the tournament by 21 points.
Garrett, the defending team champion, finished second with a 340. South Adams was fourth and Adams Central 11th in the 11-team field.
