South Adams boys sweep ACAC top seven spots
Through the mist they came one by one, piercing the cool autumn air like a band of brothers bent on cutting across the damp Monroe lawn faster than any others in the 51-runner field. They strode into the finish line, still churning like a checkered freight train, even with the outcome no longer in doubt.
South Adams blistered the Allen County Athletic Conference boys cross country field Tuesday evening at Adams Central, putting all seven of its runners in the top seven spots, scoring the minimum 15 points, and forever placing themselves in the league annals as a perfect team. It was the fourth straight ACAC meet win for the Starfires.
