Starfire boys win ACAC track title
BLUFFTON – South Adams won five events on the track and claimed its first Allen County Athletic Conference boys’ track and field championship since 2004 Friday night at Fred F. Park Field in Bluffton.
The Starfires scored 125 points, beating second place Leo by just two points. Adams Central was sixth in the team standings with 74 points.
The five wins for South Adams was two more than any other team in the field. Garrett was the only other team to win more than one title on the oval as senior Todd Frickey took the 100, 200, and 400-meter dashes.
