Starfire boys win Bi-County title
South Adams claimed its third straight Bi-County boys’ cross country championship, taking the annual meeting between the Adams and Wells county schools Saturday morning at Norwell.
Run as a relay style meet, the Starfires’ top three pairings finished in a combined 1 hour, 37 minutes, 29.8 seconds to claim first. Bellmont was second in 1 hour, 43 minutes, 16.1 seconds, followed by Norwell in 1 hour, 44 minutes, 30.2 seconds, and Adams Central in 1 hour, 45 minutes, 55.8 seconds. Bluffton and Southern Wells did not field complete teams.
