Starfire netters now 2-0

South Adams swept the doubles competition and got wins at the top two singles positions to beat Bishop Luers 4-1 in varsity boys’ tennis Thursday evening in Berne. The win raises South Adams’ record to 2-0 for the season.
Ian Frank and Derek Schwartz were perfect in winning their number one doubles match, 6-0, 6-0, and J.D. Tarr and Jon Steffen capped a doubles sweep with a 6-1, 6-3 victory at number two.
Scott Hoeppner won the number one singles match 6-1, 6-1. Mark Muselman took the number two singles match 6-0, 6-0. Brayden Myers suffered a 3-6, 4-6 loss at number three singles.
