Starfire tracksters sweep Woodlan
Evan JohnstonSouth Adams dominated the scoring in the girls’ shot put, and distance events, and in the boys’ hurdles and distance events to win a coed track meet with Allen County Athletic Conference foe Woodlan Tuesday night at Starfire Field.
The Starfire girls took 24 of 39 scoring spots in the girls’ meet and scored a 72-51 victory to move to 4-0 in dual meet competition. The Starfire boys took 28 of 39 scoring spots and won 84-39 to improve to 4-0.
Hannah Moore led sweeps in the 1600 and 3200 for South Adams’ girls. She took the 1600 in 6:00, leading teammates Jenna Smith and Kristen Muselman to the tape. Moore also won the 3200 in 12:07, and Aleesha Goodwin and Smith finished...
