Starfires blanked by Busco

South Adams loaded the bases in the bottom of the first inning, taking advantage of some control issues by the Churubusco pitcher, but failed to push a run home. The Starfires went on the collect seven walks in all, had two hits and saw the visiting Eagles commit two errors, but none of it materialized into runs as Busco beat South Adams 10-0 in varsity baseball Monday at Harry F. Anderson Field.
Skylar Schoch and Collin Affolder had the only two hits of the game for South Adams – both singles. Despite the control issues by Busco’s starting pitcher, the Starfires struck out 10 times in the contest.
