Starfires comeback to top Jets
South Adams erased a six-run Adams Central lead by outscoring the Jets 9-2 over the final two innings of play Thursday evening, and posted a 14-12 victory at Harry F. Anderson Field.
South Adams improves to 12-10 with the victory, and finishes Allen County Athletic Conference play at 3-4. Adams Central slips to 13-8, and finishes ACAC loop play at 5-2.
Adams Central had the look of a team that was going to runaway with the contest after piling up a 9-3 lead through three and a half innings.
