Starfires cruise through ACAC quad meet
After falling behind Leo 18-15 through six matches, South Adams won seven of the final eight and beat the Lions 52-24, ending any threat of suffering a second straight Allen County Athletic Conference wrestling defeat Thursday night in a four-team meeting at Heritage.
The Starfires went on to defeat Heritage and Bluffton easily, stamping out the host Patriots 56-12 and a vastly undermanned Tiger squad 69-6 to raise its season mark to 18-2 and its conference mark to 5-1.
