Starfires end eight-game skid
BLUFFTON – A late drive and 22-yard field goal by Tyler Brackin helped South Adams end an eight-game losing streak that dated back to the opening night of the regular season as it beat Southern Wells 17-14 in a game played at Bluffton Friday night.
The win raises South Adams’ season mark to 2-7, and gives them a bit of a lift going into sectional play this Friday night. The Starfires will host Lapel (1-8). Southern Wells finishes at 2-7 and will travel to Sheridan Friday.
