Starfires end long losing streak
Sharon BalsigerSouth Adams coach Ryan Cunningham has only been around the program for a couple of months now, but he knows the importance of Thursday night’s 56-39 victory of Muncie Burris – the first for the Starfires in 384 days.
“I’m extremely happy for the kids and for their parents that we got the monkey off our back and got a win,†he said, acknowledging the end of the Starfires’ 24-game losing streak. “We’ve still got a long season to go, but I’ve seen a lot of improvement.â€
