Starfires hammer Busco in sectional
WOODBURN – For a team that struggled to get a true head of steam all season, South Adams is suddenly surging on the volleyball court, and the timing of the surge could not have come at a better time.
The Starfires (11-21) won their third straight match and extended their season by beating Churubusco in the opening round of the Woodlan Class 2A Sectional Thursday night 3-0. South Adams will face Eastside – a 3-0 winner over Bluffton – Saturday at 12:30 p.m. The winner of that match will meet Woodlan or Canterbury in the sectional championship match Saturday evening at 7.
