Starfires open season with two road wins
Chase Mosser scored 52 points in two games over the holiday weekend and led South Adams to its second straight 2-0 start as it scored a pair of road wins. The feat before the Starfires now, is to avoid repeating current history and slipping into a tailspin after the successful start.
South Adams opened last season 2-0 and then lost four straight. They won two of their first three the season before and then lost four straight.
The Starfires opened the season with a 61-42 victory at Union City Wednesday night, and then capped off the weekend with a 59-50 win at Daleville Saturday.
