Starfires pull through in OT
Sydney Willis and Alyssa Bluhm both reached double digits scoring and helped South Adams overcome the late heroics of Blackford’s Lauren Godfrey to give the Starfires a 54-47 overtime victory Saturday night in varsity girls’ basketball at the Stardome.
Godfrey, who led all players with 25 points, scored 14 in the fourth quarter helping the Bruins (1-1) overcome a six-point deficit with two minutes remaining in regulation.
