Starfires reach sectional championship game

Notes: Should South Adams win its sectional championship game they would host Hagerstown in the regional round or travel to Knightstown.

Behind a stingy defense and on the legs of senior Taylor LeFever, South Adams has reached the championship game of Class A Sectional 35 after beating Northfield 33-23 Friday night at Starfire Field.
South Adams (6-5) will host Churubusco – 12-6 winners over Southern Wells – Friday at 7 p.m. for the title game. The Starfires have not played in a sectional final since 2006 and have not won a sectional championship in 15 years (1996).
