Starfires stun Tigers in comeback win
BLUFFTON – Three games into the 2013 season and it’s become rather apparent that the teams that stick to the tried and true method of ground and pound are typically going to come out on top.
South Adams (2-1, 1-0 ACAC) stuck to its ground game Friday night and came away from Bluffton’s Fred F. Park Field with a stunning 22-19 come-from-behind victory.
Bluffton shot out to a first half lead largely on the electric play of D’Wayne Eskridge, who hauled in a 77-yard touchdown pass to open the scoring, and later added a two-yard run for an early 13-0 Tiger lead.
