Starfires sweep invitational titles
On a record breaking night, South Adams prevailed amongst the nine schools participating in the South Adams Track and Field Invitational Friday night at Starfire Field.
Most of the records were set by Bellmont sophomore Alexis Harvey, but the Starfires were not without a record breaker and shined with a handful of event winners in both boys and girls' competition.
The Starfire girls scored 116 points, beating runner-up Bellmont with 102.3 points. Adams Central was third with 80 points, followed by Snider, Heritage, Canterbury, Bluffton, Richmond Seton Catholic and Blackhawk Christian.
