DECATUR – After failing to mount much of anything on offense for most of four quarters, South Adams rallied for a breathtaking four-play drive in the final three minutes and scored its first win over Bellmont in ten tries Friday night at Bob Worthman Stadium, 13-10.
The win raises South Adams record to 2-0 – its first 2-0 start since the 2000 campaign. The Starfires will shoot for a three-game winning streak this Friday as they take to the new turf at Bluffton (1-1).
