Whether by air or land (too bad it didn’t rain enough for sea) South Adams ran roughshod over visiting Monroe Central to the tune of 623 total yards and scored a 46-0 shutout win in the opening round of Class A Sectional 36 action Friday night at Starfire Field.
The win raises South Adams’ season record to 9-1 and puts them in a showdown with another 9-1 club this Friday night as they visit Union City in the semi-final round of sectional play. Union City beat Wes-Del 42-20 in opening round action.
