Starfish boys score sweep, girls split
Kara DeLongSouth Adams won eight events in its boys’ swim meet with Celina and Huntington North Tuesday night, scoring a sweep of the two visiting teams with 132 points. Celina scored 97 and Huntington finished with 81. The Starfish improve to 8-3 with the wins.
David Steffen and Drew LeFever were in on four wins apiece for the Starfish. Steffen won the 50-yard freestyle in 24.78 seconds and the 100-yard freestyle in 55.84 seconds. LeFever took the 200-yard individual medley in 2:23.62 and the 100-yard butterfly in 58.19 seconds.
