South Adams split the 12 events with Bluffton’s girls in a swim meet Thursday night in Berne, and split the points as well as the two teams finished in a tie, 88-88. South Adams’ boys were not as fortunate, winning five events, but losing a 103-75 decision. The South Adams girls are now 6-5-1 and the boys are 2-7.
Kara DeLong and Cory Sank had strong nights for the Starfish.
DeLong won two events and helped one winning relay for the South Adams girls. She claimed the 200-yard freestyle in 2:15.23 and the 100-yard backstroke in 1:05.54. DeLong teamed with Cady Farlow, Ellie Kaverman and Michaela Rupp to win the 200-yard medley relay in 2:03.90. The same quartet w...
