Stars seventh at invite, Garrett wins
Mark SmithGarrett shot a team leading 343 and won the 11-team South Adams varsity boys’ golf invitational Saturday at a soggy Golf Club of the Limberlost.
South Adams was seventh as a team with a 404. Chase Mosser led the Starfires with a 93 and Mark Muselman shot a 97. Daniel Heckard carded a 106, Derek Fox and Mark Smith both shot 108s.
Ren Christian carded a 104 for Adams Central, which finished 11th as a team. Nick McCullough shot a 107, Josh Thieme 1009, Blake Pfeiffer 113 and Pierce Harris 123.
