Stars shoot down Jets, 38-20
It took South Adams less than nine minutes and 151 yards of hard running to establish itself at Adams Central in an Allen County Athletic Conference matchup on Friday night.
On the fourth play of the game, the Starfires drew first blood when Justin Wygant broke out of the backfield and scampered around the right side to race 75 yards for the first SA touchdown with only 1:36 gone in the first quarter.
On the next play, South Adams recovered an onside kick but the Jets shut down a field goal attempt by the Stars' Hirotaka Asaoka and took over on the 21-yard line.
