Senior leaders of the Adams Central Jets softball team couldn’t be more at ease as they prepare for their second straight state finals appearance in Class 2A in Indianapolis on Saturday.
After all, they have grown up playing the game since their days traveling as all-stars from the Monroe Softball League. One thing unique about this year’s squad, said senior Mary Fox, is that the team is without drama or hard feelings. That lack of friction, said Fox, has enabled the girls to play in a much more relaxed manner, even when they have been in challenging situations.
