Stutzman honored by MSFA
Chris Stutzman, Taylor University PhotoTaylor University sophomore wide receiver/kick returner Chris Stutzman has been named the Mid- State Football Association Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week.
Stutzman made the most of his first collegiate kick returns in the Trojans’ 35-22 victory at Iowa We s l e y a n Saturday by returning kicks for 158 yards, including a 90-yard touchdown to help lead Taylor to its first 2-0 start since 1999.
The total kick return yardage gained by Stutzman was just 11 yards shy of the school record set by Doug Bonura in a loss at Malone in 1994.
