Ticket information released by South Adams
South Adams will have athletic all-sport passes on sale beginning Monday, August 8 during registration hours (9 a.m. to 7 p.m.) and Tuesday, August 9 (9 a.m. to 12 p.m.) in the cafeteria. Following registration, passes will be on sale in the athletic office daily from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
South Adams is again offering parents the option of working athletic events for their all-sport passes. If parents choose to work for their tickets, they must work 12 events to earn a family pass, six events for an adult pass, three events for a student pass, or two events for a senior citizen pass (age 62 and older). Events fill up quickly and are assigned on a first come basis.
“This program has been very successful and is a great way to ease the financial burden on the parents while helping the athletic department,†South Adams athletic director Mike Pries stated. “It takes a large number of workers to host an athletic event and we count on this program to fulfill our needs.â€
Worker sign-up will begin on Wednesday, August 3 for those that worked events for the 2010-11 season, and on Thursday, August 4 for the general public. Patrons may sign up to work in the athletic office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The cost for family passes is $190, adult passes are $70, student passes $35, and senior citizen passes $25.
Beginning this fall, single admission price for all varsity athletic events will be $5. All other events will be $3. Admission for children kindergarten age and younger is free. There is no charge for tennis, golf or cross country (with exception of the South Adams cross country invitational).
