Ticket information released by South Adams
South Adams will begin selling athletic tickets on Monday, August 9 in the high school office during registration hours in the cafeteria. After registration, athletic passes may be purchased in the athletic office Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The athletic department will again offer parents the option of working at athletic events for their all-sport tickets. If parents choose to work for their tickets, they must work 12 events to earn a family pass, six events for an adult pass, three events for a student pass or two events for a senior citizen pass (62 and older). Events fill up quickly and are assigned on a first come basis.
Worker signup will begin on Wednesday, August 4 for those who worked events during the 2009-10 seasons and on Thursday, August 5 for the general public. Patrons may sign up to work in the athletic office from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Athletic sport passes will go on sale beginning Monday, August 9 during registration hours, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Tuesday, August 10 from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Family athletic passes are $190; adult passes $70; student passes $35; and senior citizen passes $25.
Ticket prices at the door for 2010-11 athletic events are:
$5 â€“ varsity football, varsity boys basketball, varsity girls basketball, wrestling invitational, track invitational, and cross country invitational (per car, or $2 per individual).
$4 â€“ boys and girls soccer, varsity volleyball, varsity wrestling, varsity swimming, varsity softball, varsity baseball, varsity track.
$3 â€“ junior varsity events, freshman events, middle school events.
Admission for children up to kindergarten age is free. There is no charge for boys and girls tennis, boys and girls golf, and boys and girls cross country.
