Tigers score 3 unanswered TDs to top Starfires
South Adams struck first, but Bluffton struck more often, scoring three unanswered touchdowns to defeat the Starfires 24-6 Friday night at Starfire Field.
The loss is the second straight for South Adams (1-2, 0-1 ACAC), and their first back-to-back losses since losing five straight to open the 2010 campaign. Bluffton moves to 3-0 (1-0 in the ACAC) and is unbeaten through three games for the first time since 1988.
South Adams will have a tough task in trying to right its ship Friday night as it takes on a Heritage team that is 2-1 and has won its last two games by an 89-27 margin.
