Tonner sets meet record at Southwood
Adams Central tied Eastbrook in event wins Friday night at the Southwood Knight Relays track and field meet, but the Panthers depth proved to be the deciding factor as they won the meet with 105 points. Adams Central finished second with 89.5 points, followed by Southwood (71), South Adams (67), Maconaquah (53), Lewis Cass (50.5), Pioneer (39) and Northfield (30).
Eastbrook won five girls’ events and took that team title with 100 points. Lewis Cass finished second with 92, followed by Southwood (69), South Adams (65), Maconaquah (60), Adams Central (54), Northfield (36) and Pioneer (30).
