Trojans riding 11-game winning streak going into regional
In the past week, South Adams was dealing with the irresistible force that was the potent Southwood offense, but in the current week they are preparing to deal with the immovable object that is the Tri-Central defense.
The Trojans enter Friday night’s regional championship contest at South Adams with the 12th-ranked defense in the state, and the third-ranked defense in Class A. In seven of their 12 games this season, Tri-Central has allowed a touchdown or less, and the opposition is scoring just 4.3 points per game against this ironclad defense during the post season.
