Turnovers stymie Starfires in opener
With a huge chunk of their offense graduated off of last yearâ€™s team, South Adams was hoping to find some players to step in and fill the void created by Nick Teeterâ€™s departure. They did some of that Tuesday night in their season opener at home with Northeastern â€“ it just wasnâ€™t until the second half when they were able to hang onto the ball a little better.
Plagued by 12 first quarter turnovers and 30 total in the contest, South Adams was unable to get much of an offensive rhythm going and fell to Northeastern 62-45.
