Warriors win sectional title rematch
DENVER – On the playground as youngsters everyone wants, and sometimes we’re lucky enough to get a do-over. North Miami was granted a do-over Friday night and capitalized on the opportunity, avenging a 364-day old loss.
The Warriors (9-3) rode the legs of senior quarterback Austin Barker, who scored four times on runs that totaled 166 yards, and won their first sectional title since 1994 by beating Adams Central 33-15.
It was nearly a year earlier that the Jets hosted North Miami in a sectional title game and sent the Warriors packing.
