Grant money awarded for Ceylon Covered Bridge

Last October when grant writer Dave Milligan submitted a grant application on behalf of restoring the Ceylon Covered Bridge, he commented that if the funding came through, it would be the best Christmas present possible for historical southern Adams County.
It appears that Santa Claus was listening as Geneva officials learned on Thursday morning that they have been awarded $397,152 for bridge restoration from the Office of Community and Rural Affairs (OCRA). Geneva town manager Doug Milligan said that the amount, coupled with matching local funds of $44,128, would allow for $441,280 toward restoration of the bridge.
