"Operation Spring Clean" finishes with clean sweep

Law enforcement officials completed a clean sweep of their efforts to round up 18 individuals alleged with drug related charges on Thursday. All 18 individuals were apprehended and charged. “In all of my years of law enforcement, there are very few times that I recalled that we were able to bring in everyone on the first try,” said Adams County Sheriff Chuck Padgett. “Give all the credit to the guys that went out and did the job. They did an extremely professional job.”

Police officers left the Adams County Jail at 6 a.m. Wednesday morning with warrants in hand, wrapping up a 10-month drug investigation, by arresting 18 people in the morning raid. The warran...
