Allan Farlow

Allan L. Farlow, 87, of Geneva passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at 9:20 p.m. at Swiss Village in Berne. He was born Tuesday, Sep. 1, 1936, in Midland, Michigan to Sam and Hulda (Parr) Farlow. He married Saturday, Aug. 15, 1959, in Geneva to Rosalie “Rosie” Webb.
He was a 1955 graduate of Geneva High School. He attended Bryant Wesleyan Church in Bryant. He worked for Franklin Electric for 40 years. After he retired, he went to work for his son as a contractor and helped do many roofing jobs. He was a Geneva volunteer fireman for many years and was a member of the Indiana Volunteer Fire Association. He enjoyed watching the Indians play baseball, and he enjoyed watching high school basketball and football.
He will be forever missed by his wife of Geneva; three sons, Rock (Jessica) Farlow of Bay View, Ohio; Rik (Meg) Farlow of Bryant; and Rod (Tara) Farlow of Berne; nine grandchildren, Taylor (Kory) Crump of Liberty Center; Jade (Chase) Roop of St. Marys, Ohio; Xavier and Izabella Farlow, both of Geneva; Cole (Addy) Farlow of Pendleton, South Carolina; Cady (Grant) Wilson of Ossian; Caralie (Evan) Ferguson of Kenosha, Wisconsin; and Topanga and Mariska Farlow of Bay View, Ohio; and sister, Deanna Miller of Keystone.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Bruce and Gordon; and six sisters, Ellen, Nedra, Rose, Sharon, Sandra and Carolyn.
Visitation will be Friday, March 15 from 4-7 p.m. at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, 100 N. Washington St., Geneva and Saturday, March 16 one hour prior to the 10:30 a.m. celebration of life service at the Swiss Village Chapel, 1350 W. Main St., Berne. Officiating will be Pastor Paul VanCise and Cole Farlow. Burial will be at Backesto Cemetery in Berne.
