Peter Neuenschwander

Peter L. Neuenschwander, 83, of Geneva passed away Monday, March 11, 2024, at 7:06 p.m. at his residence. He was born Saturday, Dec. 7, 1940, in Berne to Jonas C. and Lovina C. (Schwartz) Neuenschwander. He was married Thursday, Jan. 25, 1968, to Naomi G. Eicher.
He worked in construction and was a farmer. He was of the Old Order Amish Church.
He is survived by his wife of Geneva; four sons, Jonas P. (Salome) Neuenschwander; and Pete P. (Martha) Neuenschwander, both of Bryant; John P. (Salome) Neuenschwander of Geneva; and Sam P. (Mattie) Neuenschwander of Licking, Missouri; three daughters, Beth (Enos) Wickey; and Naomi (Amos) Schwartz, both of Geneva; and Priscilla (Menno) Girod of Licking, Missouri; daughter-in-law, Maryann A. Neuenschwander of Berne; sister, Leah (Dan N.) Schwartz; 82 grandchildren; and 37 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Joseph; daughter, Lovina; two brothers, Chris and John; sister, Lydia; and grandson, Marcus.
Visitation will be Wednesday, March 13 from 12-8 p.m. and Thursday, March 14 from 9 a.m.-8 p.m. at the Peter L. Neuenschwander residence, 1190 E. 1000 S., Geneva. Funeral services will be Friday, March 15 at 9 a.m. at the residence. Officiating will be Amos L. Schwartz. Burial will be at Bunker Hill Amish Cemetery in Geneva.
