Magdalena S. Eicher, 80, of Geneva passed away at 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday, November 21, 2012 at her residence. She was born on Tuesday, August 16, 1932 to Peter L. and Sarah (Zook) Schwartz. She was married to John H. Eicher.
She was a member of the Old Order Amish.
She is survived by her husband of Geneva; eight daughters, Bertha M. (Paul) Zehr; Anna M. (David) Eicher; and Mattie M. (Samuel) Eicher, all of Grabill; Sarah M. (Daniel) Schwartz of Geneva; Leah M. (Edwin) Steurly of Linesville, Pennsylvania; Elizabeth M. (Menno) Wengerd of Howard, Ohio; Josephine M. (Joseph) Lengacher of Harlan; and Katie M. (Enos) Schwartz of Berne; seven sons, Pete J. (Sylvia) Eicher; John J. (Rosie) Eicher; Jacob J. (Elzabeth) Eicher; Aaron J. (Rebecca) Eicher, all of Geneva; Sam J. (Catherine) Eicher of Linesville, Pennsylvania; Christ J. (Mary) Eicher of Grabill; and Andy J. (Naomi) Eicher of Willshire, Ohio; son-in-law, Eli Yoder of Walhonding, Ohio; two brothers; four sisters; 111 grandchildren; and 73 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Mary M. Yoder; four brothers, and two sisters.
Visitation was from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, November 22 and 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. on Friday, November 23 at the John H. Eicher residence, 9380S 50E, Geneva. Funeral services were at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 24 also at the John H. Eicher residence. Officiating was Bishop Pete J. Eicher. Burial took place at the Bunkerhill Cemetery in Geneva.
